More about Greg - Profile continued

In 1979 a big change came for me. I had committed a long list of traffic violations and years of drug and alcohol abuse, bringing great grief to my divorced parents. The Change was Jesus, knowing him personally put desires in me to live for others and do the right and the good.

In 1980 I was hitchhiking and met Marianne who would become my best friend for life, we were married in 1981. 9 Children have been given to us. All of them blessing and helping her and I to grow up, and be stretched in good ways.

In 1996 we started going to Mexico for mission work. Living there as a family 9 seasons has made a big impact on us forever.

We now live in Pendleton Oregon, where Marianne grew up. A few of our Boys are married and a few of our kids are still at home. A few of them have been on missions trips and a couple of them have lived and worked on their own long term out on the mission field.

I really enjoy making a joyful noise, and singing quiet love songs to my wife. Writing music has been a life long passion that comes and goes like the wind...who can start or stop it? G.W.
